As you know, 2017 has been an exhilarating year for One Ocean Expeditions, initially with the news of our fleet expanding to include the RCGS Resolute and secondly with our 10th anniversary celebrations this month. Continuing on this exciting trajectory, we have an extraordinary new itinerary for you to introduce to your clients, upon which, two lucky travellers will experience Canada like never before.
Starting and ending in Nova Scotia, One Ocean Expeditions are proud to announce the once in a lifetime circumnavigation of Canada voyage. For two travellers, the summer of 2018 will provide the opportunity to travel by sea, land and air around the undeniably spectacular and diverse country of Canada in one single expedition.
The expedition begins in Louisbourg (Nova Scotia) and will join together all the OOE summer 2018 itineraries including Labrador & Torngat Mountains, Baffin Island and Lancaster Sound, exploration of the High Arctic, Pathways to Franklin, and the iconic Northwest Passage.
We will disembark the Akademik Ioffe in Cambridge Bay from where our adventurers will travel via plane to British Colombia and, after exploring the remarkable city of Vancouver, journey from East to West in style, onboard Via Rail Canada’s newest ‘Prestige’ Class. This rail tour heads to Banff and Jasper National Park, before following the lakes of Northern Ontario, through the bustling hubs of Toronto and Montreal. With extended stops at world-class hotels along the way, our passengers arrive back at the embarkation province of Nova Scotia a whopping 56 nights and 57 days after beginning their journey. There’s undoubtedly never been a trip like this offered before.
