Toucanmoon is a small, friendly and enthusiastic company providing marketing, representation and niche market development services for a range of travel and tourism clients in the UK and worldwide.

We do everything from representing a Canadian expedition cruise company at a trade show in China and assisting with the establishment and development of a high-end travel fair in Morocco to writing press releases, organising press trips, producing effective media campaigns and creating a UK market for overseas companies.

Toucanmoon was formed in 2004 by business development, marketing and PR expert Debra Taylor. Debra has many years’ experience in the travel industry and has held director-level positions in several high-profile international companies specialising in
expedition cruises, wildlife holidays and polar adventures.

With a creative team and a well-established, extensive network of contacts in the travel press and travel trade around the world, toucanmoon is in an enviable position to provide innovative, measurable and cost-effective results.

Colette Coleman has been part of the team at toucanmoon since 2007. Colette spent ten years working as a product manager for several of the UK’s leading action and adventure tour operators including Russia Experience, Exodus and Quark Expeditions, where she developed, managed and operated adventure tours across the globe. Colette is the author of Great Motorcycle Journeys of The World – an inspirational guide to riding motorcycles abroad.

Maxine is our VA here at toucanmoon, she can turn her hand to most things from client mailers, website updates and event organising – no two days are the same in this role.
Maxine has been providing client support and services to companies and people for over 20 years. Having worked for a number of large organisations she decided to take her skills out into the world on her own and enjoys working with toucanmoon and the bespoke services they provide.
Although she loves skiing, warmer climates are her favourite holiday destinations.

Karen first began working in the travel industry in 1992, initially at the ‘sharp’ end as an overseas holiday rep, and subsequently in public relations, specialising for many years in small, independent tour operators.
Today Karen works as a freelance writer, using her skill of being able to recognise what is newsworthy and to turn it in to punchy, readable copy.
Having backpacked around Australia and south east Asia during her 20s, and travelled the globe from the West Country to the West Indies on work assignments, Karen now enjoys nothing more than discovering new destinations with her husband and teenage son.
